An event not to be missed! An opportunity to network with the leaders of cutting-edge technology and witness live crash demonstrations from Passive Safety UK and AEB demonstrations from DriverAssist.Tech.
The 10th Crash demonstration event organised by Passive Safety UK (Formerly known as The Passive Revolution and UK Roads).
This event has been organised to demonstrate the potential life-saving capabilities of passively safe, crash-friendly products. As hundreds of people are killed or seriously injured every year from colliding with unforgiving objects placed by the side of the road, Passive Safety UK will be highlighting the importance of making the best proactive use of ‘Crash Friendly’ policies, designs, and products, to help significantly reduce this toll.
A recent joining of hands between Passive Safety UK and DriverAssist.Tech has resulted in the first event of its kind, with a series of AEB radar demonstrations conducted within an ‘Active Safety Zone’.
For this event, DriverAssist.Tech will be bringing to you the UK’s leading radar technology suppliers such as Moshon Data, Acklea, Fleetclear, Dr Air-Brake and DriverAssist.ME.
Moshon Data will be performing live Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) demonstrations throughout the day comprising of a Volvo car driving towards soft vehicle and vulnerable road user (VRU) targets, to show how these active safety devices perform in real-world scenarios.
Moshon Data will also be showing off the technological aspects of cutting-edge, radar technology, featuring the RadViz© radar reflector, currently distributed in the UK by Traffic Management Vehicle specialists, Acklea.
